MY NAME IS
Varun Malik
I am a Law graduate from the University of Leeds with a background in Journalism and Mass Communication. I began my career in marketing and PR at Pitchfork Partners, working with clients such as Flipkart and iMerit on brand strategy and communications.
I am currently working as a Paralegal, building on prior client-facing and administrative experience with Citizens Advice and legal work experience at firms including Herbert Smith Freehills, Latham & Watkins, Dentons, and White & Case. At University, my dissertation examined how intellectual property law is responding to AI-generated content, a field I continue to follow closely.
Alongside tech and IP, I have strong interests in data protection, media law, and digital rights. At the University of Leeds, I also took on leadership roles within the Advancement Team and the International Students Office.
I am looking to progress within the legal profession, particularly in roles where law intersects with innovation, strategy, and real-world impact. I remain open to exploring different sectors and practice areas.
